The Cobra MR F75 is a unique VHF radio, with a brilliant LCD display and a powerful speaker in the same housing as the microphone. Locating the speaker near the microphone allows you to listen effectively while using the microphone during a radio call, and the large LCD makes DSC calling simple and improves visibility. Additional volume controls on the microphone allow you to easily adjust the volume from the handset.

Operate on any of the three different channel maps established for these areas, with dual 1 or 25 Watt output power depending on whether you're making short or long communications.

All 10 NOAA/Weather Channels With Weather Alert

The MR F75 provides instant access to national hazard and weather information, 24 hours a day. A weather alert feature gives you an audible tone and visual alarm if threatening weather is nearby.

Tri-Watch and Memory Scan

The MR F75 can monitor three channels at once--channel 16, channel 9, and one user selected channel. You can also use Memory Scan to scan channels programmed in memory, finding conversations in progress.

DSC Call Log

Similar to the Caller ID function on a telephone, this will capture the caller's MMSI ID number and any other data included in a DSC message.

Class-D DSC (Digital Selective Calling)

Digital Selective Calling allows you to send a distress signal at the touch of a button or exchange position information with other boats or stations. DSC features on this Class-D radio include: A Dedicated Channel 70 (DSC Channel) Receiver, GPS Position Display Capability, Illuminated Distress Button, Easy MMSI Entry, Position Send and Request, Position Input Reminder, Coast Guard DSC Check Capability, and more.

GPS Capability

When connected to a Cobra or most other GPS receivers, you can send your position to other boats in an emergency, or exchange position information with other boats or stations.

Instant access to channel 16 and channel 9 for emergency situations.

Easy to Use, Day and Night

The illuminated LCD display and function keys provide high visibility, for maximum ease of use, even at night. A signal strenght meter gives you the strength of your outgoing or incoming signal, and a keystroke tone signal (selectable on/off) gives you feedback to confirm key activation.

Noise Cancelling Microphone/PA Capability

The MR F75 features a noise canceling microphone to actively block background noise, and can be used as a Public Address system over a PA speaker (not included). An external speaker jack allows easy connection to external speakers.
